Yale Zhang, CEO
Yale Zhang is a healthcare entrepreneur who has founded four companies with one exit. His goal is increasing access and affordability of healthcare to everyone everywhere in the world. He has created and commercialized several affordable medical devices including iOX - an FDA cleared smartphone powered pulse oximeter that overcomes skin tone biases. He co-founded SPLT (Techstars Mobility 2015), a software company that was acquired by Robert Bosch.
Charles Guan, VP of Engineering
Charles Guan is an electromechanical engineer and educator known for his work in robotics, electric vehicle technology, and engineering education. His engineering journey began in 2000 as a hobbyist, inspired by the television show BattleBots, where he later became a contestant in 2015 and 2016. He received his Bachelor's Degree (S.B.) and Master's in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Charles founded Kiwi Technologies (which later became Guardian Agriculture), a company focused on agricultural robotics and autonomous systems.
Celine Mayer, Business Development Manager
Celine Mayer joins the Seismi team in her first professional role after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Nebraska Lincoln. She brings her strong foundation in scientific principles and research methodologies to the table. A minor in art history helps bring a critical eye to product and business development.

Tara Zedayko, Advisor, Companion Animal Market
Tara Zedayko is the co-founder and former CEO of DIG Labs, an AI-powered pet health technology company that developed patent-pending image-based diagnostic tools for real-time pet health assessment. DIG Labs was acquired by Ollie Pets in 2024, where Tara now serves as Chief Scientific Officer. She has 14+ years of experience at Johnson & Johnson in cross-functional healthcare roles spanning biomedical nanotechnology, consumer brands including AVEENO, and disruptive innovation. Tara holds a BS in Materials Science & Biomedical Engineering from Cornell and an MBA from NYU Stern.
Anna Skaya, Advisor, Companion Animal Market
Anna Skaya is the founder of Basepaws, the pioneering at-home DNA and health screening test for cats. She grew Basepaws from a solo venture into a category leader featured three times on Shark Tank. Basepaws was acquired by Zoetis in 2022, the world's largest animal health company. Anna also co-founded MyCityDeal in the UK, which became part of Groupon, and led Groupon Russia. Her experience building a pet health company from inception through major animal health acquisition brings invaluable strategic guidance to Seismi.
Owen Brown, Advisor, Data & AI Strategy
Owen is a Senior Data Engineering Manager at Veryfi, an AI-powered data extraction platform. Previously, he was an ML Product Manager at Meta, where he worked in the Ads group applying machine learning at scale. Owen holds a BS in Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from UCLA Anderson, and is a CFA charterholder with experience in private wealth management at UBS. His expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and AI product development informs Seismi's cloud analytics and data platform strategy.
