Cattle Sensor — Integrations

Build on Seismi's
Cattle Data

The Seismi Cattle Management System is now open to third-party integrations. Connect your platform to receive live vitals, health alarms, and herd records from every tagged animal — through secure, monitored API credentials.

What You Can Integrate

The Data Behind Every Animal

A single integration gives your platform access to the same physiological and herd-management data the Seismi platform collects — continuously, from intake through sale.

Live & Historical Vitals

Heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, SpO₂, and motion from each ear-tag device — available as real-time readings or historical time ranges.

Health Alarms & Risk Scores

Pen- and animal-level alarms with symptoms, risk scores, and severity levels — the same early-warning signals that drive the Pen Rider pull list.

Cattle Records & Identity

Per-animal records keyed to tag number, NFC, and EID RFID, with birth date, type, and weight — so your system speaks the same identity as the chute.

Treatment, Vaccination & Sales

Complete treatment histories, vaccination records, and sales records — a full lifecycle audit trail for compliance, analytics, and traceability.

How It Works

Connected in Four Steps

1

Request Access

Tell us about your platform and the operations you support. We provision your organization and integration access on the Cattle Management System.

2

Register Your Platform

Add your platform with an API Key and API Secret. These credentials authenticate the connection between Seismi and your system.

3

Test the Connection

Run a connection test before going live. An integration is only enabled once the test passes, so you never ship a broken link.

4

Receive Data

Once enabled, cattle data flows to your platform. Ping latency and connection status are monitored continuously, with alerts if anything drops.

Built to Stay Connected

Production-Grade by Default

Integrations aren't fire-and-forget. Every connection is tested before it's enabled, monitored while it runs, and watched for the failure modes that quietly break data pipelines.

01
Verified before enable Saving an integration runs a live connection test — it goes active only after the test passes.
02
Latency & status monitoring Ping latency and connection status are tracked per integration, so degradation is visible early.
03
Automatic error alerts If a connection drops — token expiration, API errors, runtime faults — the system emails your configured address.
04
You stay in control Enable, disable, edit, or remove any integration at any time from the Cattle Management System.
